4-Ton Asphalt Patch Trucks
The 4-ton patch truck strikes a balance between capacity and convenience. It offers a step up in asphalt volume from the 2-ton model while still maintaining a relatively compact footprint—making it perfect for both city work and small-scale road repairs.
Like the 2-ton model, no CDL is required on the standard model, which helps streamline operations and reduce staffing hurdles. It’s a versatile, reliable choice for any crew looking to maximize efficiency without sacrificing mobility.

4-Ton Asphalt Patch Truck FAQs
Can I operate the 4-ton model without a CDL?
Yes. Like the 2-ton model, the standard 4-ton patch truck can be driven without a CDL in most cases, simplifying staffing and compliance.
What’s the main advantage of the 4-ton over the 2-ton model?
The 4-ton model offers greater capacity, allowing crews to carry more asphalt and complete more work between reloads.
Does it require an auger to unload material out of the hopper?
No. Falcon patch trucks use a gravity dump system with a large door for efficient and low-maintenance material delivery. Falcon does offer an optional material delivery system, which combines our gravity dump hooper with an auger material arm for material. With this optional system you have no auger inside of the hopper that is prone to expensive failures.
